SRS airbag system
The XL7 comes standard with front SRS airbags for the safety of the driver and front-seat passenger in case of a frontal collision.
ESP®*
If Electronic Stability Programme (ESP®) detects wheel slippage when the driver turns the steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery, for example, it automatically adjusts the engine torque and brakes to suppress the wheel slippage and help the driver stay in directional control.
Pedestrian injury mitigating body
The structures of the XL7’s bonnet, front windscreen wiper area, front bumper and other parts absorb impact with the aim of mitigating head and leg injuries in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.
ABS with EBD
In an emergency braking situation, the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) keeps tyres from locking up and supports the driver to maintain steering ability. In addition, Electric Brake force Distribution (EBD) shortens the braking distance by optimally distributing force to the front and rear wheels if there is a large load, such as when the car is full of passengers.
*ABS is a device that assists the driver during braking. It does not eliminate the need to drive safely. For example, you should slow down when approaching a corner.
TECT (Total Effective Control Technology)
The XL7’s body design is centered around on Suzukis TECT concept, resulting in a structure that efficiently absorbs and disperses energy in an event of a collision. The load paths beneath the engine compartment further mitigates collision damage.
Light and highly rigid body
The smoothly curving frame is largely constructed of ultra-high-tensile steel. This results in a rigid yet light body despite the XL7’s long and wide dimensions.
Hill hold control
Hill hold control is designed to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards during standing starts on slopes by engaging the breaks for up to two seconds after the driver removes the pressure from the brake pedal to depress the accelerator.
Reverse parking sensors and rear view camera
Two ultrasonic sensors on the rear bumpers detects obstacles while parking the car. Warning sounds and the information display on the instrument panel help keep the driver informed of the distance to the obstacle. Rear view camera is standard equipped.

The Suzuki XL7 is manufactured in Indonesia by PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor.
The Suzuki XL7 has various design difference with the Suzuki Ertiga, the XL7 has and SUV design profile with its high clamshell bonnet hood, Aggressive Grill and higher ground clearance to name a few.
The XL7 comes equipped with an LCD screen in the cluster meter that tells you driving information such G-Force, power and torque, breaking power, etc. It also has ventilated cup holders that keeps your beverages cool and a 10” Touchscreen Audio System with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Apple Carplay is an Apple standard app that allows iOS devices to be displayed and controlled via the car's audio unit. Android Auto is a mobile app developed by Google to mirror features of an Android Device on the car's head unit/radio. These features provide easier connectivity while safely driving your vehicle.
The XL7 has a ground clearance of 200mm or 7.8 inches.
